Forget cramped buses or rattling taxis. When I pick you up from your hotel in Wroclaw or the airport to explore the stunning landscapes of Lower Silesia, you aren’t just getting a lift; you are stepping into my pride and joy.

• The Layout: The rear features a bench seat that is arguably more comfortable than the sofa in my living room. The two middle seats swivel, meaning you can face your travel companions for a chat, or turn away if you’ve had quite enough of them for one day.

• Creature Comforts: There is a retractable side table, perfect for resting a guidebook, a tablet, or a flask of tea (essential, really).

• Privacy: The windows are tinted. This provides excellent privacy for a nap and allows you to pretend you are a celebrity hiding from the paparazzi as we cruise through the countryside.
