Welcome to VanBartGetaway. I’m Bart—your personal chauffeur, road-trip companion, and resident motorsport enthusiast.
While I was born here in Poland, I spent 21 years across the Channel, being thoroughly steeped in British culture, classic rock, and dry humour. After navigating the bustling streets of London and mastering the legendary roundabouts of Milton Keynes, I’ve returned to my roots to set up shop in the beautiful city of Wrocław. I’m a husband, a father to a young daughter, a servant to two cats, and the proud founder of this getaway service.
From the F1 Paddock to the Polish Countryside
If you are wondering whether you are in safe hands, let me put your mind at ease. Before founding VanBartGetaway, I spent 18 years as a professional Class 1 HGV driver. My career highlights include transporting multimillion-pound hospitality units across Europe for Formula 1 teams like Scuderia Ferrari, Alpine, and Aston Martin.
If I can successfully thread an articulated lorry through the impossibly narrow, VIP-packed streets of Monaco on a high-pressure schedule, I can certainly guarantee a smooth, flawless drive to Książ Castle without spilling your water. Furthermore, I hold a globally recognised SMITH Defensive Driving certification. This means I am highly trained to anticipate the road ahead, ensuring your journey is not just comfortable, but impeccably safe.
